“This work is inspired by the writing of Victoria Schwab. Specifically her book, A Darker Shade of Magic. These photographs were taken to depict the world referred to as “Black London.” This world has been corrupted, consumed, and destroyed by magic. I wanted to embody what happens when humanity has no balance with magic and showcase what it looks like when magic becomes its wielder’s captor.
