This body of work is a collection of photographs edited through darkroom techniques, alternative processes, and select digital manipulation in order to craft mysterious, otherworldly environments built from everyday locations and objects. Every aspect of life taken for granted has meaning, but sometimes a different context is needed to highlight it. The world is a puzzle that sometimes requires a unique perspective in order to create a fantastical escape from the mundane reality, much in the way that our dreams psychologically reconstruct our own lives into surreal experiences.
