Choking on Your Affection
Janie Tormanen
We have a full pantry
Cupboards stocked with groceries
Milk and eggs in the fridge
And you starve me
Now that my ribs are showing and stomach has shrunk
You lift the milk jug like a trophy
And force the sour chunks down my throat
