“This series of photos i documented significant places I’ve had shared moments with past lovers— of all kinds. I wanted to capture that time and remember it for their tenderness.”
About The Artist
Lyn Hinojosa, originally just a painter, is finding herself by becoming an interdisciplinary artist, working with media of all types. She uses her painting background to create portraits of a time that comment on sexuality, intimacy, and relationship with one another; she creates these images both in the 2D and the 3D space. Using bright colors and intimate compositions, these pieces yearn to look and be looked at, and can feel scopophilic. At the end of the Spring 2022 semester, she will be holding a BFA thesis show at UNLV in the Donna Beam Gallery.
