Corrupted Thought

On The Piece

“A girl sits gazing at a corrupted version of herself in a mirror, her hand lifted as if to comfort or caress the image. She appears calm, a look of nostalgia or thoughtfulness on her face, almost as if she misses this version of herself. On the wall behind her are mirrors with peeping eyes, portraits, and messages.”

Italya Bravo is a self-taught artist born and raised in Las Vegas. She loves working with acrylic and marker, and much of her work is inspired by still portraits, her favorite books and moves, and fantasy photography like the ones by @shotsbysophia.
