World Teachers Day

Today is World Teachers’ Day and we want to express our gratitude for teachers across the globe!
Education is a highly undervalued career field that deserves more recognition. Teachers endure much more than we realize; it’s not a profession made for just anyone. Teachers are people, humans with emotions and struggles just like everyone else; yet they take on the huge role of guiding others’ learning capabilities and potential on top of maintaining their own lives.
The difficulties of our current situation and the sudden transition to an online classroom setting has shined a light on what teachers go through on a daily basis. Teachers put so much effort into preparing for their classes and making sure their students get the same experience they would in an actual classroom. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes—they care about their students and are willing to go the extra mile.
Educators chose this career path because they care about helping others and want to make a difference in their community. They have a passion for teaching and helping student’s reach their fullest potential. School has become a second home to many students, and teachers perform beyond their job description to provide them with the most support possible.
To teachers and future educators: Thank you for everything that you do! Your effort does not go unnoticed. We appreciate your commitment and aspiration to positively impact student’s lives.
To students: Please take a moment to think about how a teacher has made a difference in your life. Think back to the classes you enjoyed the most—how did that teacher make it a memorable experience for you? Teachers need our support more than ever, so be sure to let them know they are appreciated.
The world needs teachers, and today we must honor them!
