Lydia has been an artist and photographer for over five years–born, raised, and residing in Southern Nevada (the traditional homeland of the Nuwuvi People). Her passion for photography started with capturing the landscapes of North America, and although she doesn’t like feeling confined to one specific niche, Lydia finds herself drawn to exploring themes on land, femininity, and self-exploration of her own experiences as a person and an artist. Her other works published include “Spilt Tea” in UNLV’s 2023 BA Student Juried Exhibit and “Decaying Artist” in Kindergarten Magazine. Lydia will be graduating in Spring ‘24 from UNLV with a BA in photography.
